429-mile scenic parkway that runs from Franklin, Tennessee to Natchez, Mississippi. It parallels the original Trace, which was the trail used by Indian tribes thousands of years ago. More recently, the trail was used by traders and farmers walking back home after sailing their goods down the Mississippi River.
