It takes place on the Saturday night before Labor Day, drawing nearly all 70,000+ participants to the open playa.After a spectacular performance by fire dancers, the pyrotechnics begin with a deafening show of explosions, rockets, and massive fireballs erupting from the Man himself, and continues until the Man is fully engulfed in flames as the fireworks reach their peak.
