Install Nintendo or Playstation

I am definitely not a big fan of kids wasting endless hours on video games. However, I do feel that there is a time and a place for everything, and a 10-hour drive is definitely the place for some Nintendo time to break up the drive. The kids really don't abuse it. After all, there is usually some great scenery going by that shouldn't be missed. I even occasionally like to go back and show off my lack of skill at Mario Kart.

During a winter road trip from California to Missouri and back, we told the kids (ages 2 and 6) that they could only have screen time when it was dark. That worked for us!
