2000 Columbus Day in Provincetown

It was Columbus Day weekend and we were not about to let a 3-day weekend pass us by. In searching for a destination not too far away, I remembered how much I had enjoyed the Provincetown area when I was a child. Cape Cod can be quite lovely in October, with the warm Indian Summer days and no crowds. Also, I like to plan our trips around great biking opportunities, and I knew that there were some beautiful trails through the dunes of the Province Lands.

So, as the boys always love, we picked them up from school Friday afternoon in the motorhome and headed towards the Cape.
