2.7-mile unpaved loop through the unworldly badlands of Death Valley. The road is located off 190, east of Furnace Creek and is not accessible by RV or trailers. The road is named for the teams of eighteen mules and two horses that pulled wagons loaded with borax out of this canyon from 1883 to 1889.
